Learners will explore the characteristics of enterprise, the role of entrepreneurs, and the process of developing new ideas. They will then plan and design a project that applies these principles to a business context, focusing on creativity, problem-solving, and practical application. The project may involve proposing a new business idea, developing a product concept, or designing an innovative solution to a business challenge.
On completion, learners will demonstrate the ability to generate ideas, plan a project, present outcomes, and evaluate results. The unit integrates skills developed across the qualification, such as research, communication, finance, teamwork, and digital competence, making it an ideal conclusion to the programme and preparation for Level 4 study.
