This course aims to give students a comprehensive understanding of innovation and commercialisation. In today’s competitive landscape it is critical that organisations continually innovate both their product offering and processes to ensure that they remain competitive in the market. Adopting a more commercially driven approach is vital to maximise the Return on Investment (ROI).

In this course, students will look at a number of tools and techniques that organisations use to drive innovation and become more commercial in their approach. The course gives students cutting-edge knowledge as well as practical application of the key ways in which organisations become more innovative while remaining commercially driven.

By the end of the course , students will have gained an understanding of how innovation is fostered, harnessed and managed in organisations. They will learn the value of innovation and its importance to supporting commercial growth. They will also acquire knowledge that will enable them to develop a creative and innovative approach that will benefit them throughout their career.

By the end of this course a student will be able to:

  1. Investigate how innovation is sourced and supported within different types of organisations.
  2. Explore the processing of different types of innovation within organisations.
  3. Apply the process required to commercialise innovation within an organisation.
  4. Evaluate the range of methods for protecting innovation within organisations.

This course is designed to be as accessible as possible. There are no formal prerequisites or qualifications required to enroll. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • As the course is conducted entirely in English, we recommend that learners have a good grasp of the English language, both written and spoken, to gain maximum benefit.
  • Since this is an online course, you’ll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. Familiarity with basic computer skills would be advantageous.
  • While you can learn at your own pace, dedicating consistent time to the course will help you understand and retain the material better.

      Registration process:

      • Based on course settings, students might be requested to fill in an application (online) and provide us with correct information about themselves before being able to proceed with the course.
      • We will contact you by email if we need more details after submitting your application.
      • After approval, you can proceed with payment and start the course.

      Materials are organized under different lessons. The lessons consist of self-study contents including reading-texts, practical activity, assignment and quizzes in which students can engage and learn.

      The course has supervisors and instructors; they are available online to support students by answering their questions or explain different topics to them. This will be managed under discussion section, forums, direct contact or by online meetings.

      Next Gates Certificate

      After completing the course, students will be issued a digital certificate for free. Additionally, if students wish to receive a printed and sealed copy, they may contact us and request it for an additional fee. Students will be responsible for any notary or apostille authentication fees when needed.
