This course is designed for anyone interested in understanding the fundamentals of establishing and growing companies in Sweden. It’s not only for beginners but also for those who have already started small businesses and find themselves needing more information about legal structures, taxes, employment conditions, insurances, funding, and financial statements.

Designed with the “read and do it yourself” principle in mind, this course doesn’t just present information and leave you to your own devices. Instead, it delves deep, offering practical insights beyond mere theory and showcasing solutions in an easily manner.

Starting a business is an overwhelming process, with countless ideas and questions swirling in one’s mind. While it’s possible to seek answers from official authorities or online resources, the available information often falls short of addressing the most pressing issues and can be time-consuming. This course aims to save you valuable time and potentially money that you might otherwise spend on consulting and accounting services.

By the end of this course a learner will be able to:

  1. Clearly distinguish between various business types in Sweden and understand the legal terms of each.
  2. Develop comprehensive business plans, budget models, and discern the most appropriate funding methods for their venture.
  3. Interpret and apply knowledge related to Sweden’s taxation system, annual declarations, and essential financial reports.
  4. Engage with Sweden’s employment framework, from understanding legal prerequisites, collective agreements, to drafting robust job contracts.
  5. Evaluate and select appropriate business insurance options, ensuring resilience and business continuity.
  6. Understand and implement steps for copyrights, brand protection, and secure intellectual property rights in Sweden.

This course is designed to be as accessible as possible. There are no formal prerequisites or qualifications required to enroll. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
